Gods A+ Stamp
Hi Friends ~
Last night, my cute 7 year old brother, Samuel, came up to me and gave me this hand written note, that he wrote to me. Here's what it said,
"I lov my Big Sistr. My big Sistr is blig and shrong from Sam."
It was just SO cute, and what a cute note he wrote me! It really made me smile! He gave it to me like it was worth gold, and I'm sure it was! He was just so excited and proud of himself! This reminded me of my Relationship with Jesus...
You know, as you would've seen, there are many spelling and grammer errors, aren't there? But did I notice them at first? No, of course not! Why? Because He is my brother, and I knew He loved me and I love him! Although there were many errors on that note, he gave it to me with his best, he tried, and thats all that matters! Its the same with Jesus. When we pray, its like a baby talking to its parents - you can't really understand what they're saying. And yes thats us, yet though we are sinners, God lovingly accepts and hears our jibbish prayers with all these 'spelling errors' and lovingly smiles at them, just like I did, when my little brother gave me his love written note!
God loves to hear from us, he tells us to pray to him without ceasing. Its how we talk to God, the Heavenly Creator of the Universe, of you and I! He accepts our prayers, just as they are, and gives us his 'A+' stamp. He excitedly gives our petitions unto the Father, who hears and answers our Prayers joyfully! God only wants our best, He doesn't require us to be perfect before we come to him, No! God loves it when we come to him, with all our 'spelling errors' in life, and wants us to fully surrender them to him, and he WILL answer them, and fix those errors for us, if we only ask him! So always remember, no matter how many 'spelling errors' there may be in your life, never hesitate to talk to your Heavenly Father, because He he is able to fix them for us. God L-o-v-e-s you with an Ever lasting Love :)
Ellen white says, "Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as to a friend. Not that it is necessary in order to make known to God what we are, but in order to enable us to receive Him. Prayer does not bring God down to us, but brings us up to Him."
God Loves you,
Riarna :)
